Made a new friend at the @alamedagardens wildlife park in Gibraltar 😊

The Ring-tailed lemur (Lemur catta) is a large strepsirrhine (sub-order) primate and the most recognized lemur due to its long, black and white ringed tail.

Ring-tailed lemurs are native to Madagascar and are endangered die mainly to habitat loss. The Lemur Conservation Foundation and the Madagascar Fauna Group are making efforts to conserve their remaining populations which are in decline. To lose a species like this would simply be a complete tragedy.
