Dandelion Seed

Description

A Dandelion seed floats while a water droplet is suspended upon its pappus (each seed’s set of feathery bristles). The seeds, which are technically fruit and are called a cypselae, are produced on the flower stalk with each seed representing one of the florets of the flower head.
